It means that there has been an item or items left in the area from the sidewalk to the street in front of your home for more than 24 hours. These items (trash carts, miscellaneous trash, brush piles, etc.) must be removed within a seven day time period. The violation notice is left at the home, as well as mailed to the property owner of record. If the item(s) are still within the right-of-way by the end of the seven-day period, the City will remove the item(s) from the street side and the property owner will receive a nuisance fee billing for the removal cost incurred by the City.
