Free family fun with a live DJ and vendors on the streets of Downtown Lansing in front of the Michigan State Capitol. Celebrate Lansing's rich automotive heritage!

A fun way to learn about the Pave the Way I -496 Project as it reveals how the highway changed our city and education, especially for those living along the then mostly African American Westside neighborhood. Opening Ceremony @11:30 with invited guests Mayor Schor, Lansing Superintendent Canul , State Rep. Sarah Anthony, NAACP president that will also will be honoring of Mrs. Margaret Groves, 98, Lansing School District administrator and educator at 11:30 am
Planned Activities: Inspiring Exhibit and Bus Tour of Westside sites past with stories told by those impacted by the dislocation of homes, schools and business; replica of a 60’s classroom experience; kids bounce house, food, activities and more!

Buddy’s PALS (Pet Assisted Learning Service) is a new educational program serving the greater Lansing area! The grand opening event will be held outside at Adado Park in Lansing, MI (corner of Shiawassee and N. Grand Avenue). Come out to meet teams, pet dogs, check out vendors, and meet superheros from the League of Enchantment!
