DANCE Lansing ends the festival in Dart Auditorium with four nights of exciting new dance. Indoors or on the lawn, enjoy a perfect summer evening!

Allen Farmers Market is a thriving weekly market that provides our neighborhood with access to fresh produce and other delicious products, a convivial atmosphere to visit with neighbors, and opportunities to engage with each other and share diverse resources and perspectives. Live music from 5 – 6 pm. Credit/debit, EBT (plus Double Up Food Bucks), and cash are accepted. Find the Market year round, located at 1629 E Kalamazoo, either inside the Allen Market Place building from November through early May, or outside in the parking lot on the corner of Kalamazoo and Allen Streets from mid-May through October. Parking is available off of Shepard Street.

A Walking Wednesday is a walk through your neighborhood with neighbors, City officials, City Council members, Lansing Police Officers, and anyone else who may be interested in the assets of your neighborhood, and the areas of improvement or interest. These events are typically held on a Wednesday during spring, summer, or early fall. However, the Neighborhood Resource Team is happy to schedule a Walking Wednesday whenever it works best for your community. The Free Concert in the Parks Series is held throughout the summer at selected Lansing parks on Wednesday evenings from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Except July 4th. Concert attendees should bring lawn chairs or blankets to use during the concerts. In case of rain or other inclement weather, concerts will take place at the same time and location on the following day. For directions to the Park or for more information, please call 483-6019.
