    This two-day, 33rd annual celebration of regional women artists takes place that the Edgewood United Church in East Lansing. The volunteer-run festival features a large artist market of over 50 vendors, music and poetry performances, food, workshops and more, as a symbol of our commitment to support women in the creative pursuits.

  2. Lansing Veterans Day Tribute

    November 10, 2018, 8:30 AM - 12:00 PM @ Lansing Catholic High School

    The Veterans Tribute Ceremony begins at 10:30 a.m. in the Lansing Catholic High School auditorium. The ceremony will feature Massing of the Colors, Color Guard, and musical performances by Lansing Eastern High School Band, Glen Erin Pipe Band Lansing Catholic High School Choir, and solo vocalist Mary Black Junttonen. 2018 marks the 100th Anniversary of the First World War. Mayor Andy Schor will offer remarks at the ceremony. The 2018 keynote speaker will be Major General Michael Stone, Michigan National Guard Assistant Adjutant. Mayor Schor will also read a special message for Mr. Richard Thelen, WW II Veteran of the U.S. Navy, a survivor of the sinking of the USS Indianapolis in the Pacific Theater of WW II.
