Yes. You must apply at the Parking Services Office for a permit to park in our surface lots overnight, due to the fact that not all of our lots have overnight parking. If you park overnight in the Lansing Center lots (located behind the Lansing Center), you will be fee invoiced in the morning for the daily rate. You may park overnight in our parking ramps, however, you will be responsible for the daily rate with a daily maximum. Your daily maximum will vary based upon your location. The daily maximum rates for the City of Lansing Parking Lots and Ramps consist of the following:
North Grand Ramp: $3.00 per hour/$15.00 daily maximum. Fees are charged 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
North Capitol Ramp: $2.50 per hour/$12.50 daily maximum. Fees are charged 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
South Capitol Ramp: $2.50 per hour/$12.50 daily maximum. Fees are charged 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Lot #56: $10.00 - NOT in effect yet.
Lansing Center Lot: $2.00 per hour/$10 daily maximum. The fees at the parking lots under and north of Lansing Center are enforced 5 a.m. to 11 p.m daily. A 24 hour parking permit lot is adjacent to Lansing Center. The lot is available to the public after 6 p.m. Monday-Friday and all day on weekends.
The rest of the parking lots are permit parking only.
