Downtown Street Closures and Lane Restrictions for 2018 Lansing Turkey Trot
The City of Lansing Public Service Department announces that a number of streets will have reduced travel lanes or be closed to traffic from approximately 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, November 22, 2018
for the Lansing Turkey Trot 5K. Race Route:
The 5K will start on Grand Avenue north of Shiawassee Street in front of Lansing Community College at 8:30 a.m. and will travel south on Grand Avenue to Hillsdale Street, west on Hillsdale Street to Capitol Avenue, north on Capitol Avenue to Shiawassee Street, east on Shiawassee Street to Washington Square, south on Washington Square to Lenawee Street, east on Lenawee Street to return to Grand Avenue and north on Grand Avenue to return to the start/finish line at Lansing Community College.
Due to the date and time of this event, the route will be under the supervision of the Lansing Police Department and 5K route marshals. Traffic on most major streets will be maintained with minimal delays.
