Jolly Road to be Closed for Milling and Resurfacing
The City of Lansing Public Service Department announces that
Jolly Road, from Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard to Cedar Street, will be closed for milling and resurfacing starting on
Monday, September 14, 2020. The work will include spot sewer repairs, spot curb replacement and sidewalk ramps.
The work area is from
Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard to Ora Street.The work is
expected to be complete by late-October.Access to local businesses and residences will be maintained.
Detours will be provided (see below).
*Motorists may choose either of the following detour options.Detour Option 1:Westbound Detour- North on Pennsylvania Ave.
- West on Cavanaugh Rd.
- North on Cedar St.
- West on Holmes Rd.
- South on MLK Jr. Blvd. back to Jolly Rd.
Eastbound Detour- North on MLK Jr. Blvd.
- East on Holmes Rd.
- South on Cedar St. back to Jolly Rd.

- East on Miller Rd.
