Mayor Andy Schor today announced that the Mayor’s Racial Justice & Equity Alliance (MRJEA) will host their next Community Update on Thursday, April 29, 2021, at 12:00 p.m. Several committees will present an overview of what they have been working on and will share a few accomplishments and examples of recommendations they plan to make to Mayor Schor as part of the report that will be presented at the end of May. The Lansing community will be able to provide feedback to the report in June prior to it being finalized. Details regarding a public meeting in June will be provided when available.
MRJEA is looking for community members to provide their thoughts and feedback during the event through the chat function of the Zoom meeting, as well as before and after the meeting by e-mailing [email protected] or by calling (517) 483-4477.
Participants must register for the Zoom webinar ahead of time at www.lansingmi.gov/MRJEA.
