CART Collection Delay Due to Martin Luther King Jr. Day

In observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day, The City of Lansing’s trash and recycling collections will be delayed by one day beginning on Monday, January 20th, 2020, and through the rest of the week. 

In other words, for residents whose scheduled collection day is regularly Monday, it will be on Tuesday during the week of the 20th . For residents whose scheduled collection day is regularly Tuesday, it will be on Wednesday of that week and so forth. 

The regular collection schedule will resume on Monday, January 27th, 2020. 

In addition to the recycling and trash collection delays, the Capital Area Recycling and Trash (CART) office will be closed on January, 20th, 2020. Residents contracting with private trash haulers are urged to check with their collection companies for possible scheduling changes.
