Mayor Andy Schor was one of five Mayors invited to interview presidential candidates about their policies for local America during the 2020 Local America Presidential Forum in Waterloo, Iowa, hosted by Accelerator for America Action and the U.S. Conference of Mayors. The debate was non-partisan, and all major party candidate were invited to participate in the event.
“It was an incredible honor to be selected as one of only five mayors to participate in the Accelerator for America/U.S. Conference of Mayors Local America Presidential Forum,” said Mayor Andy Schor. “Lansing is being put on a national stage to help ensure important city issues are a part of the conversation in the presidential election.”
