Mayor Schor Appoints Loria Hall to the Lansing Housing Commission Board

Lansing Mayor Andy Schor today announced the appointment of Loria Hall as the newest member of the Lansing Housing Commission (LHC) Board. Hall takes the position of Bethany Deschaine, who has resigned her seat on the LHC Board. The term expires June 30, 2020.

“I am proud to appoint Loria Hall to the Lansing Housing Commission Board. Ms. Hall is the manager of an affordable housing facility and has significant experience in the Lansing housing community for over 10 years,” said Mayor Andy Schor. “Her experience and knowledge of current housing trends will be a tremendous asset for the Lansing Housing Commission moving forward.”

Hall has been vetted and meets all of the requirements in the City Charter. City Council confirmation is not required for this appointment. City Clerk Chris Swope will swear Hall into her new position, effective immediately.
