Code Inspection Reports Complete at Lansing Housing Commission Properties

Mayor Schor today announced that the City of Lansing’s Code Enforcement team has completed their inspections at the Lansing Housing Commission (LHC) Properties LaRoy Froh and South Washington Complex. In an effort to remain transparent, the City of Lansing has released the completed reports.

All units at the complexes were inspected in accordance with the City of Lansing Housing Code. A number of issues were identified at each building. The City of Lansing is working with LHC to put together a corrective action plan.

“We’ve reviewed the reports, and know that there are challenges. We expect rapid progress toward bringing these properties to full compliance. We are working with the Lansing Housing Commission to set up obtainable deadlines to ensure that these properties are up to code,” said Mayor Andy Schor.

Code Enforcement is continuing the process to complete inspection of all LHC properties. Visit www.lansingmi.gov/LHCReports to read the completed reports.
