Fire Investigation at LaRoy Froh

Lansing, MI – Today, the City of Lansing is releasing the fire investigation report from the tragic fire at Laroy Froh Townhouses. Based on this fire investigation report, at this time we do not believe that City of Lansing code inspections would have prevented the fire due to the fact that the fire was in the wall. Our understanding is that electrical inspection is being done by the insurance company for the Lansing Housing Commission (LHC), and that is not yet complete.

As announced previously, the City of Lansing is currently in the process of inspecting all LHC properties, with Laroy Froh Townhouse inspections currently in progress.
