Six-Month Report Highlights Mayor Schor’s Accomplishments
Lansing, MI – In the last six months, Mayor Andy Schor and his team have been working tirelessly to move Lansing forward together. Mayor Schor held a Transition Team Update Meeting on Tuesday evening with members of his four transition team committees. Attendees included representation from each committee including the Economic and Business Development Committee, Education Committee, Neighborhoods & Public Safety Committee and the Infrastructure and Public Services Committee. Committee members learned of the Mayor’s accomplishments during his first six months in office which reflects many of the transition team’s recommendations.
“Lansing’s time really is now and the hard work we’ve accomplished in just six months of office is astounding! I am proud of my team, including city employees, partners and neighbors who continue to work to help make my vision for Lansing a reality,” said Mayor Andy Schor.
The transition committees were led by former Lansing State Representative and City Council Member Joan Bauer. She worked closely with former Mayor David Hollister who served as a Senior Advisor to the transition team.
“It was great to come together with Mayor Schor and the transition committee members to discuss the accomplishments since our original recommendation report. I appreciate that our work as a committee was utilized by the Mayor and his team,” said Bauer.
