Lansing has two main hospitals: McLaren Health Care and Sparrow Health System as well as other service providers. Michigan State University provides medical education and training through the College of Human Medicine and the College of Osteopathic Medicine and operates an outpatient clinic open to the public. Based out of Flint, McLaren Regional Medical Center is an affiliate of MSU's College of Human Medicine.

Great Lakes Cancer Institute

The Great Lakes Cancer Institute (GLCI) is a joint venture between Michigan State University and McLaren Health Care. GLCI provides world-class cancer care and newly discovered treatment options to physicians and patients in communities throughout Michigan.
