Mission Statement
The Lansing Fire Department is committed to serving the Lansing area community with the highest levels of life and property protection. We will achieve this by providing excellent compassionate service in an atmosphere that encourages innovation, professional development and diversity.
As a result of this mission, the Lansing Fire Department has developed into a multi-faceted agency responsible for providing a wide range of emergency and non-emergency services. The Lansing Fire Department's six divisions constantly strive to fulfill our mission statement.
