Lansing Living - A City of Lansing publication combining the Lansing Parks and Recreation Activities Guide, the Capital Area Recycling and Trash (CART) Greensheet, as well as other important information and event details. A new issue of Lansing Living will be released three times per year.
Convenient “single stream” recycling means no sorting. Service is available to single family households in the City of Lansing. Commercial recycling service is available to businesses in Lansing.
Household trash collection options include: convenient, heavy duty roll out trash carts, blue city trash bags, bulk item collection for items over 30 pounds and/or longer than four feet, such as appliances and furniture.
Curbside collection is available for leaves, grass clippings, tree trimmings and other organic yard waste materials. Items are picked up weekly on a seasonal basis between April and November.
