The 2 millionth vehicle, a 2016 Buick Enclave, built at General Motors's Lansing Delta Township Plant rolled off the production line on Friday, August 14th, 2015. This impressive milestone was made possible by our dedicated GM UAW workforce.
The Dragon Boat Race & Festival is a fundraiser for the Women's Center of Greater Lansing. The race and festival will take place August 30, 2015, at Adado Riverfront Park in Lansing, Michigan. The races begin at 8:30 a.m. followed by performances and kids' activities throughout the day.

Ground has been broken at Ferris Park for the construction of Beacon Soccer Field! The field is expected to be ready for play by Labor Day.
The Lansing Police Department will be testing several different models of body-worn cameras on a trial basis to determine the best technology for the Lansing officers. Full deployment for this project is expected in late fall of this year.
Mayor Bernero recently presented the Key to the City to Lansing native Earvin "Magic" Johnson at the Lansing Promise Scholarship Dinner. Johnson (and friends) gave $800,000 of the $1 Million raised. The scholarship is a shining success, due largely to the dedication of the local Promise Board.
