Yard Waste Services

There are a variety of options for handling yard waste, including curbside pick-up or on site composting, grasscycling, and mulching.

Curbside Collection

Leaves, grass clippings, tree trimmings and other organic yard waste materials are picked up weekly.  The curbside collection of yard waste operates seasonally between April and November.

Backyard Composting

Through the natural process of composting, leaves and grass clippings from your yard can be transformed into a nutrient-rich substance called compost.

Grass cycling returns valuable nutrients to the soil, saves the time and effort of bagging the clippings and minimizes the expense of curbside collection.

Mulching has a number of benefits, including reduced watering, controlling insects, and adding nutrients to the soil. Shredded leaves, grass clippings, hay, straw, pine needles and other yard materials can be used as mulch.
