Ramadan Unity Dinner
An exciting evening is being planned for this year's Mayors Ramadan Unity Dinner - "Feeding Minds, Fighting Hunger," which will be held on Friday, August 27th from 7:00 pm to 9:30 pm at the South Washington Complex, 2500 S. Washington. You will have an opportunity to enjoy Middle Eastern cuisine, live entertainment, as well as special guest speakers who will present the meaning of Ramadan. The purpose of the event is not only to raise funds for the hungry that will be directed to the Greater Lansing and Mid-Michigan Food Banks. It is also a great diversity event that will raise community awareness about the Muslim month of fasting and focus on overcoming negative stereotypes. Please become a sponsor or order tickets today!
