Station 44 is the newest fire station in Lansing. It opened in 2003. E44 is equipped with portable extrication equipment and makes all pin-in accidents south of I - 496 with E45. ATV 44 operates grass fires and carries water rescue eqiupment. This rig makes all south-end water and ice rescue runs.
