Welcome to Waste Reduction Services. We offer City of Lansing residents convenient, weekly curbside collections for recycling, refuse, yard waste and bulk items. A variety of educational resources are also available to the Lansing community. Please contact the WRS hotline at 483-4400 with any questions, comments or concerns.
Our mission is to provide an efficient recycling, yard waste and refuse collection system which encourages environmentally responsible behavior learned through consistent outreach efforts, as well as continuous, community-based educational activities, all of which contribute to a cleaner and healthier environment and enhance the quality of life for those who live and work in the city of Lansing.
