Holidays and Important Dates to Remember

Collection for City observed holidays and the rest of the week following the holiday will be delayed by one day. Friday collections will take place on Saturday.  For more information, call the Waste Reduction Services Hotline at 483-4400 or email recycle@lansingmi.gov

18-21 - Home & Garden Show at the MSU Pavilion.  Bring in old books, athletic shoes, phone books and cell phones for recycling.  Visit our booth for recycling and composting information.
  
April  

2  - Good Friday.  Office closed.  Friday collections will be delayed until Saturday.

5  - Seasonal yard waste collection begins

22 - Earth Day 

27 - Master Composter Class begins.  (course = 5 weekly classes) 

May  

1 - Computer & Electronics Recycling event

31 - Memorial Day.  Office closed.  Collections the week of the will be delayed by one day.

June
