Recently Completed Project - Downtown Grand / Walnut
Phase IV, Segment 5 of the Lansing Combined Sewer Overflow (CSO) Control Plan completed separation of the Southwest and North Central portions of the Downtown Segmentation area. Two areas were part of this project. The first was Grand Avenue between Shiawassee and St. Joseph Streets. The second included Walnut Street from Shiawassee Street to Ottawa Street. The Grand Avenue and Walnut Street projects separated approximately 18 acres and eliminated 4,000 linear feet of combined sewer.
