Neighborhood Watch Officers

North Precinct - Officer Jeromy Churchill

Officer Jeromy Churchill oversees the Neighborhood Watch Program and is the North Precinct churchillCrime Specialist.  Officer Churchill is responsible for monitoring and assisting with existing  Neighborhood watch groups.  Officer Churchill is responsible for 56 neighborhood watches and over 30 neighborhood associations.  He coordinates the Alarm Program, oversees the handicap parking enforcement and river walk volunteers.  Officer Churchill works closely with businesses, homeowners and landlords.  Officer Churchill has taken the program to a new level by implementing a Train-the-Trainer Program for the neighborhood watch members and volunteers. South Precinct - Officer Sarah Nolen

Officer Sarah Nolen is assigned to the South Precinct as a Neighborhood Watch Officer and Crime Prevention Specialist.  Officer Nolen is a part of Mayor Bernero's Crime Fighting Plan and  Nolanis responsible for 102 neighborhood watches and 15 Neighborhood Associations.  Officer Nolen's goal is to have one hundred percent involvement by neighborhood watches in the South side of Lansing.  Officer Nolen also helped in the implementation of the Train the Trainer program at the South Precinct, hosting weekly training seminars to the community such as Home Security and Identity Theft.  Officer Nolen has brought neighborhood watch into the 21st century with a new and innovative web based neighborhood watch program called Citizen Observer.  Officer Nolen is also starting a business watch for South side.
