SCHOLARSHIP DISTRIBUTION AMONG LANSING SCHOOLS AND LANSING CHARTER SCHOOLS
- Each year the H.O.P.E. Scholarship Program will accept 500 new students into the program.
- Scholarship positions are allocated to Lansing schools on the basis of a composition ratio.
- For example, a school that enrolls 30% of the City's sixth grade population will receive 30% of the scholarship program positions.
- Therefore, a school with a 30% ratio in a program of 500 will have a total of 150 scholarships to offer.
