Lansing's Transportation and Parking Office understands the parking needs of residents living in lofts or apartments in or near the Washington Mall in downtown Lansing.That's why we've designed convenient, affordable and flexible short-term and long-term residential parking programs to meet your needs.
- We offer discounted monthly permit parking for long-term parkers in City of Lansing parking facilities. Residents occupying one loft or apartment who purchase their first monthly permit can receive 50 percent off the full monthly permit rate. Purchase a second monthly permit and receive a 75 percent discount!
Any permit purchased beyond the first two permits, per loft or apartment, will be charged the full monthly permit rate. If one of two monthly permits is cancelled, the discount rate on the active permit will be adjusted to the one-permit 50 percent discount rate. - For short-term parkers displaying a residential hang tag, hourly parking fees will be waived on weekends, and Monday through Friday from 4 p.m. until 8 a.m.
