Located along Grand River Ave. and Turner St., just one mile north of downtown Lansing, Old Town is a symbol of Lansing's rich heritage. The district's historic buildings house art galleries, specialty boutiques, and restaurants. We invite you to explore our unique shops and eateries where you can find items from antiques, art, books and crafts to quilting supplies, toys and wine. Old Town's Restaurants will treat you to a delectable range of flavors from morning breakfasts to evening dining experiences.

The Michigan Walk of Fame

Downtown Lansing's newest attraction, the Michigan Walk of Fame, honors past and present Michigan residents who have made significant contributions to the state or nation. Made up of 18" x 30" bronze plaques embedded in the sidewalk, each plaque displays information on the inductee's life and contribution. The Michigan Walk of Fame is the first Walk of Fame in the nation to honor the contributions of its residents on a statewide basis. Visitors are welcome to view the plaques at their leisure year-round. Visit The Michigan Walk of Fame to submit nominations for consideration in 2007.
