The photo below are from the Groundbreaking Celebration that was held on Thurday, April 19, 2007 at Scott Woods Park. The dog park will be name in honor of Howard and Erna Soldan. The Soldans provided a generous donation making this park a reality. The park will open in late August 2007.
The park is also funded in part by the City of Lansing Park Millage and Ingham County Parks. Support in development, funding and education is provided by the Friends of Greater Lansing Dog Parks, a private nonprofit volunteer group established to support safe, off-leash parks where people and the dogs they love can exercise together.
