LANSING PARKS & RECREATION THERAPEUTIC SERVICES
The Therapeutic Recreation programs are developed as a stepping stone for people with disabilities. If you need accommodations, or are looking for inclusive opportunities give us a try. The Recreation Therapist and support staff will work with you to make your experience with Lansing Parks & Recreation successful.
Contact us a few weeks out from the start of a program and together we can find a way to make the program accessible for you. Previous accommodations have included: interpreters or students in training, additional support staff or a buddy system, written or pictorial information. Give us a call and lets talk.
The support staff are students from MSU who are looking for hands on experience. Many students are studying: adapted physical education, physiology, special education, social work and child development.
