The Lansing Parks and Recreation Department currently offers Youth Scholarships to Lansing Residents (Township residents i.e. Delta, Delhi, and Lansing Township DO NOT QUALIFY) under the age of eighteen (18) years old who need financial assistance to participate in eligible activities offered by the Lansing Parks and Recreation Department.

Parents/Guardians must submit Scholarship Applications in person. Applications cannot be mailed, faxed, or e-mailed to the Parks and Recreation Department. If applications are recieved other than in person they will not be accepted. Please click on the link below to get Youth Scholarship Eligibility requirements:

Please Remember to Bring the Following with your Scholarship Form:

When submitting an application you must also bring valid identification showing current address and proof of income to complete the application process. Also Current and Valid WIC Cards and Bridge Cards are considered proof of income.

When filling out an application please remember that you must fill out an application for each child applying for a specific program.  If you have for example one child that is registering for multiple activities/programs a scholarship form must be filled out for each activity/program.

A $40.00 maximum can be given in scholarship to an individual per season (Winter, Spring, Summer, Fall).

Here at Lansing Parks and Recreation we strive to provide all of the Lansing community with quality recreational opportunities. One way we do this is through our youth scholarship program. In the economic climate of today we are finding more families in need of this financial assistance. Your donation will help us ensure we are able to offer scholarships to Lansing youth who request assistance.
