24th Annual Silver Bells in the City
The Lansing region's premier holiday celebration is slated for Friday, November 21 in downtown Lansing. Silver Bells festivities include the 11th annual Electric Light Parade, the lighting of the official state holiday tree, and a spectacular fireworks show over the State Capitol dome.

Lansing Kicks Off 150th Birthday Bash
Mayor Virg Bernero and leaders of the Rotary Club of Lansing recently announced the Lansing 150 Sesquicentennial Celebration at Turner Dodge House in Old Town. The Capital City turns 150 years old in 2009 and special events will be held throughout the year.
