New City of Lansing, Office Hours starting July 6, 2010
06/29 - The City now has new office hours and schedules for city services. The changes are an alternative to employee layoffs or furlough day and will help meet the city's budget savings targets. Emergency services such as police, fire, EMS and 9-1-1 will continue to be provided on a 24/7 basis.

This designation empowers Lansing to leverage foreign investment to help grow the City's economy and create new jobs. 06/03 - The City of Lansing Department of Parks and Recreation invites everyone to the 14th Annual Mayor?s Family River Walk on Saturday June 5, 2010. The walk begins at 9:00 a.m. and starts at Potter Park Zoo and ends at Hawk Island Park. Registration begins at 8:30 a.m. and the first 1000 walkers receive a free t-shirt. The walk consists of 3 miles with fun stations along the way. Free refreshments, activities and an inflatable obstacle course and moonwalk for the kids and certificates will be available at Hawk Island Park.
