The Lansing Fire Department is a customer focused state of the art provider of fire protection, emergency medical, hazardous materials and techincal rescue services. We're proud of our distinguished history of protecting our community and our tradition of service is strong. Our 235 authorized personnel are skilled, dedicated, caring and courageous. We strive to exceed the expectations of our citizens and visitors. We work in a challenging environment, and we meet the challenge every day.
Teaching fire safe behaviors to children, inspecting commercial properties, managing a natural, technological, or intentional calamity affecting our entire community. Responding to structure fires, medical emergencies or treating an individual who happens to be visiting, and we meet it very well.
