2011 Property Taxes

As of March 1st

The City of Lansing can no longer accept 2011 property tax payments for parcels beginning with 

23, 33 and 91

Please contact Eaton County regarding parcels that begin with 23

Please contact Ingham County regarding parcels that begin with 33 and 91

at 517.676.7220

Please contact the City of Lansing for parcels that begin with

90, 94, 95, 96 and 97

View property tax payments via the internet.

  1. Click on current tax
  2. Click on Tax Information Search
  3. Enter your address, parcel number or name; Click Search
  4. Click on your parcel number
  5. Scroll down to the tax bill history section
  6. Click on Pay Tax Bill Now next to the tax billing

Please note there is a 3% credit card convenience fee charged by Point and Pay to process your tax payment.  There is not a charge for an electronic check. The City does not receive the convenience fee.  The City does not receive credit card or electronic check information.  We only receive parcel number, amount paid and method of payment.

You must contact Point & Pay Customer Service at 888-891-6064, extension 1, if you are experiencing problems with your transaction.

 To make payments via the telephone please have your permanent parcel number available.  The permanent parcel number is located in the upper left corner of your tax bill.

Only credit card payments are accepted via the telephone response system.  If you wish to use an electronic check you must make your payment via the internet.

To make payment at Comerica you must have the original tax bill and you must be paying the amount in full (partial payments cannot be accepted). Payments are accepted at Comerica until February 14th; after this date payments must either be mailed or made in person at the Treasurer's Office (see above for address).

Delinquent Property Tax Bills

Delinquent Real Property Taxes

Prior year Real property tax bills begin with 23, 33, 91, 96 or 97 and must be paid to the County Treasurer.   You must contact the County Treasuer to determine payoff or current status of delinquent real taxes.  We can not accept payment for these parcels at the City.

When the City of Lansing's property tax information site indicates that prior year's taxes are not paid, this represents the status as of the following March 1st only. 

 

Delinquent Personal Property Taxes and other tax bills

Personal property tax parcel numbers beginning with "90" and special property tax bills beginning with "94" and "95" are payable to the City of Lansing.  

Contact the City of Lansing Treasurer to determine payoff or current status of the taxes.

Payments for parcels that begin with 90, 94 and 95 can be made through the City's voice payment system or through the internet.    You will need to have your permanent parcel number, which is located in the upper left corner of your tax bill.
