Welcome to the City of Lansing Income Tax Information Center.  We have posted information on this page to help you complete your Income Tax returns.  For Employer Withholding information, please click here.  The Income Tax Office administers the Uniform Income Tax Ordinance, which was adopted in 1964.

Estimated Payment Due Dates for Current Tax Year On or Before April 30th, June 30th, September 30th, January 31st.

Delinquent Income Tax

The City will accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express or Electronic Check for the payment of Delinquent Income Taxes. There is a  3% convenience fee for credit card payments; however, there is no convenience fee for electronic checks. City NSF charges will be added for all returned checks.

Payments are processed through Official Payments Corporation.  The City does not receive credit card or check information.  Official Payments retains the convenience fees.
