Victim Information

Victims of specific charges such as domestic violence are sent a Victim Impact Statement by the Prosecutor's office once a charge is issued. If you did not receive a statement, please contact the Ingham County Prosecutor's office at the number below. The victim/witness unit in that office will send you a statement, answer questions and have victim advocates to assist victims.

If you are the victim in a case and wish to speak to the Probation Officer handling that case, please call the Probation Department's main number 517-483-4424.  Please remember a case is not referred to the Probation Department until the defendant has pled guilty, pled no contest or has been found guilty of a misdemeanor charge.
