Derrick Quinney
Vice President of City Council
Derrick Quinney was selected by the Lansing City Council to fulfill the remainder of the term for the vacated At-Large Council seat, once held by Joan Bauer, on January 29, 2007.
Derrick has lived in Lansing most of his life. He is a proud product of Lansing Public Schools, which is also where he met his wife of thirty years.
He is the Health and Safety Director for the Michigan State AFL-CIO. He is a member of the United Auto Workers,many community service programs, the Old News Boys and has been involved locally with United Way campains.
