If you want to park on-street at City of Lansing parking meters without needing coins, the CashKey is just what you’ve been looking for. This is an easy coinless method of paying for on-street metered parking. The CashKey is designed to be conveniently stored on your key ring. For added convenience, your CashKey can be used in combination with coins.
How does it work?
The CashKey works much like a debit card. To put time on any City of Lansing parking meter, simply insert the key into the meter. Twenty-five cents is added to the meter with each insertion.
What does it cost?
To get a CashKey, stop by the Parking Services Office. For a $25 deposit, you’ll receive your own CashKey.
When should I add money to my CashKey?
A new key has $0 balance, so remember to add the amount of funds you need. Anytime your CashKey runs low on funds, stop by the Parking Services Office to add funds in any amount.
For metered parking, you can’t beat the convenience of a Cashkey!
