Join us May 25th for a Parade and Memorial Service to Salute Our Veterans

Please join us to salute the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our nation. This year is the 60th anniversary of the Korean War, and these veterans will serve as the parade's Grand Marshals. The parade kicks off downtown at 10:00 AM, followed by a memorial service at Evergreen Cemetery at 12:00 AM.

Lansing Launches Financial Empowerment Center to Serve 4,000 Area Residents

Mayor Virg Bernero today joined community partners in announcing the opening of the Lansing Financial Empowerment Center, which will provide free, one-on-one, professional financial counseling to an estimated 4,000 Lansing area residents over the next three years. The Center will help participants reach their financial goals, ranging from managing debt and avoiding financial scams to saving for a better life for themselves and their families. more
